A common rice paper can be classified by the fiber ratio between wingceltis and rice straw. If more wingceltis bark fiber is mixed in the pulp, the paper will have a firm surface. If it contains more rice straw fiber, the paper will have a soft surface. This softness is referred as “cotton”.
